Alyssa Zacharjasz, DPM, AACFAS, FACFAOM, has served with Mahaska Health since 2018, practicing in the Oskaloosa, Iowa area. A small-town Iowa native, she always wanted to practice medicine in a rural setting. Dr. Zacharjasz attended the University of Iowa and Des Moines University before completing a surgical residency program at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana. She is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. To Dr. Zacharjasz, the most fulfilling part of her day is earning the trust of her patients while working together with them to return them to the activities they enjoy. She lives an active lifestyle, enjoying long walks with her husband and golden retriever, along with reading, camping, and yoga. Her practice specializes in podiatry with a wheelchair accessible office.
