About Joseph R. Lickteig, DPM

Dr. Joseph R. Lickteig completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa from 1967 to 1970, then attended podiatry school in San Francisco at the California College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating in 1974. He spent two years in the Army as a podiatrist before moving to Newton, Kansas, in 1976, where he has practiced in the Newton and Wichita area ever since. Dr. Lickteig practices general podiatry with an emphasis on diabetic and conservative foot care. His practice treats ingrown toenails, plantar warts, and fractures, offering foot and ankle surgery, custom orthotics, sports medicine, shockwave therapy, wound care, diabetic foot care, and limb salvage at a wheelchair accessible office with on-site X-ray imaging.
