About Thomas E. King, DPM

Thomas E. King, DPM, FACFAS practices orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine through UK HealthCare in Lexington, Kentucky, with a focus on podiatry and foot and ankle surgery. Dr. King grew up in Northern Kentucky and has practiced in the Lexington area since 2006, having spent time in private practice before joining the University of Kentucky Department of Orthopedics. He is board certified in foot surgery and in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. King serves as a staff physician at the UK Good Samaritan Wound Care Center, where he concentrates on lower extremity wounds and limb salvage. He previously served as president of the Kentucky Podiatric Medical Association and remains active in state and national podiatric organizations.
