Acadiana Foot Centers has served Lafayette and the surrounding Acadiana region for more than two decades, with Dr. James A. Noriega leading a team that also includes Dr. Hannah Istre Rambo. Dr. Noriega is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, with particular expertise in diabetic limb salvage and juvenile flatfoot reconstruction developed through his work with the Limb Salvage Center in Lafayette. The practice treats bunions, heel pain, fungal nails, ankle injuries and sprains, foot and ankle fractures, arthritis, tendonitis, and congenital or acquired foot deformities, and provides diabetic foot care, wound care, custom orthotics, and diabetic shoe prescriptions. Surgical services range from arthroscopy and bunion correction to reconstructive procedures for arthritic and complex conditions. New patients are typically seen within a day or two of contacting the office, and the practice maintains staff privileges at several area hospitals.
