Foot Health Center has cared for patients across Metairie, LaPlace, and Covington, Louisiana since 1980, with Dr. Robert Kadish leading the practice's podiatric services. Dr. Kadish, who joined the practice in 1997 after his residency at Mercy Hospital in Detroit, is board certified in podiatric medicine and surgery and has completed advanced microsurgical nerve training for treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy and tarsal tunnel syndrome. The team evaluates and treats plantar fasciitis and heel pain with customized shoe inserts, corrects misaligned bunions, and uses laser technology to address toenail fungus. Diabetic patients receive close monitoring for foot wounds, since reduced circulation can slow healing even from minor injuries, and flat feet are also assessed and treated. Foot Health Center works with a range of insurance plans and offers continuity of care to patients moving between its three Louisiana office locations.
