Southern Podiatry Clinic, founded by Dr. David Allen, provides foot and ankle care from offices in Ponchatoula, Franklinton, and Slidell, Louisiana. Dr. Allen is a Ponchatoula native who trained at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency in Seattle and Tacoma before returning home to open the practice, where he is now joined by Dr. William Lee. The clinic treats bunions, hammertoes, tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, ingrown toenails, neuromas, flat feet, and corns and calluses, and provides diabetic nail care aimed at preventing pressure-related wounds and infections along with wound care for diabetic ulcers. Southern Podiatry Clinic accepts most private insurance plans and serves patients across its three Louisiana office locations, coordinating care between Tangipahoa and St. Tammany parish communities.
