After graduating high school, Dr. David Clarkson joined the Navy, where he dedicated eight years to service as a submariner before enrolling at William Patterson University in New Jersey to major in biotechnology with a minor in chemistry. During college he volunteered with his local ambulance squad and served as a combat medic, developing a passion for helping people that led him to Temple School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Clarkson was accepted into the Staten Island University Hospital Podiatric Residency Program and joined Eastern Shore Family Footcare in 2006, serving the Chestertown, Maryland area for over 20 years. He is an avid history buff who enjoys spending time with his family. His practice treats plantar fasciitis, neuromas, plantar warts, ingrown toenails, neuropathy, Achilles problems, and fractures.
