Kentlands Foot & Ankle Center has served patients throughout Gaithersburg, the wider Montgomery County area, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia for more than two decades. Led by Jon M. Sherman, DPM, who is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the practice treats bunions, hammertoes, heel spurs and arch pain, neuromas, plantar warts, and toenail fungus. Dr. Sherman favors non-invasive approaches, including extracorporeal shockwave therapy for chronic heel pain, biomechanical analysis with custom orthotic fabrication, and laser treatments for nail fungus and pain relief, while also offering endoscopic heel surgery and other in-office surgical procedures when needed. The office maintains digital x-ray capability on site and treats patients of all ages for general podiatric conditions, from athletic injuries and ankle sprains to diabetic foot care.
