About Dr. William Gormley DPM
Dr. William Andrew "Andy" Gormley grew up in Laurel, Maryland, and now practices with Laurel Foot and Ankle Center in his hometown area. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland, College Park, specializing in physiology and neurobiology, before studying medicine at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Gormley completed his medical and surgical residencies in Baltimore, training at Veterans Administration hospitals in Baltimore and Washington, National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, and Kimbrough Army Medical Center at Fort Meade. He also trained at Sinai Hospital and Northwest Hospital Center in Baltimore, completing his residencies in 2006. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
