Dr. Paul J. Meissner Jr. has practiced podiatry in the Timonium-Lutherville area near Baltimore for more than thirty years, holding board certification in foot surgery through the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. An Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine graduate who completed his surgical residency in Detroit, he opened his practice in Cockeysville in 1981 and has been a staff member in the Department of Surgery at Greater Baltimore Medical Center since 1987. Dr. Meissner provides complete medical and surgical care for the whole family, treating bunions, hammertoes, heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, ingrown nails, and sports-related injuries, and designs custom orthotics for patients with major foot deformities. He describes himself as a leader in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and continues to pursue hands-on training to stay current with emerging techniques. Surgical procedures are performed at the Timonium Surgery Center and Greater Baltimore Medical Center.
