About Alfred Phillips, DPM

Alfred J. Phillips, DPM, FACFAS practices podiatry with The Vascular Care Group in Hyannis, Massachusetts, bringing more than 30 years of experience as a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon. Dr. Phillips completed his residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at HCA Doctors Hospital/Northlake Regional Medical Center in Atlanta and has spent much of his career training podiatric surgical residents at Carney Hospital, Cambridge Health Alliance, and St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. He has served as Chief of the Podiatry Division at multiple hospital systems and as president of the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Association. His clinical interests include treatment of painful flatfeet, osteoarthritis of the foot and ankle, diabetic foot reconstruction and limb salvage, revisional foot surgery, and sports injuries. Dr. Phillips has also contributed a chapter on Achilles tendon disorders to a major reconstructive foot and ankle surgery textbook and continues to lecture nationally on foot surgery topics.
