Scituate Podiatry Group, Inc. has provided podiatric care to Scituate, Massachusetts and the South Shore since 1995, when Dr. Mark F. Lawrence and the now-retired Dr. Gary Count founded the practice. Dr. Lawrence, board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, previously served as Chief of Podiatry in Carney Hospital's Department of Orthopedics and remains an active staff member at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. He is joined by Dr. Rebecca E. Southard, who completed her residency at Carney Hospital and has practiced with the group since shortly after its founding. Together they treat bunions, hammertoes, corns, calluses, ingrown nails, warts, heel pain, fungal toenails, athlete's foot, ankle sprains, diabetic foot problems, foot odor, fractures, and Morton's neuroma, working closely with specialists in endocrinology, neurology, orthopedics, and rheumatology for patients with more complex conditions.
