The Footcare Specialists is led by Brian Homer, DPM, FACFAS, who sees patients at offices in Clawson and Allen Park, Michigan. A lifelong Oakland County resident, Dr. Homer earned his podiatric medical degree with advanced placement status at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago and completed his podiatric surgical residency at one of Harvard Medical School's primary teaching hospitals in Boston, where he served as chief resident and was nominated for a clinical fellowship in surgery at Harvard. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a Diplomate of the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners, and he previously served as Clinical Director and Residency Director at Southeast Michigan Surgical Hospital. Dr. Homer has contributed to clinical research on lower extremity treatment for patients throughout the Clawson and Allen Park communities.
