Family Foot and Ankle Centers, P.C. provides care from two Michigan locations, Bay City and West Branch, through co-founders Dr. Michael Ambroziak and Dr. Jill Shink, who together bring more than 50 years of combined podiatric experience. Dr. Ambroziak, a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, has extensive training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic limb salvage, and wound care, and offers ankle joint replacement as an option when conservative treatment for ankle arthritis has failed. The practice treats ankle injuries, broken bones, heel pain from plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis, arthritis, flat feet, tendonitis, ingrown toenails, and neuropathy, often starting with conservative measures such as bracing, physical therapy, or custom orthotics before considering surgery. Additional services include in-house X-rays, sports medicine, cortisone injections, and wart and wound care. Dr. Shink, who has treated Bay City patients since 1996, emphasizes patient education throughout the treatment and recovery process.
