Dearborn Foot and Ankle is led by Dr. George Kardouss, DPM, MS, who treats patients of all ages from the practice's Dearborn, Michigan office. Born in Damascus, Syria, Dr. Kardouss earned his podiatric medical degree at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine and completed a three-year residency in foot and ankle surgery at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, where he gained extensive training in foot and ankle reconstruction, diabetic wound care, and limb preservation. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and trained in minimally invasive surgical techniques. The practice treats bunions, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, heel pain, arthritis, congenital and acquired deformities, and sports injuries, offering both in-office procedures and surgical repair for fractures and complex reconstructions. Custom orthotics, diabetic foot care, and pediatric foot care are also available, and the office accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and most major insurance plans for the greater Dearborn community.
