Dr. Matthew Thomson is a Michigan native who received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in 2002 and graduated with honors from The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 2006. He completed a three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency at The Detroit Medical Center before joining a Lansing, Michigan practice in 2009. He is on staff at Sparrow, McLaren Greater Lansing, and Memorial hospitals and is board certified in both foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He practices at Foremost Podiatry PC, treating fractures and offering sports medicine, diabetic foot care, custom orthotics, wound care, laser therapy, foot and ankle surgery, minimally invasive surgery, regenerative medicine, shockwave therapy, pediatric foot care, and limb salvage services.
