A graduate of the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Felhandler completed his surgical residency at North Detroit General Hospital and has held surgical affiliations with several area hospitals, including Michigan Surgical Hospital and Insight Surgical Hospital. The practice addresses heel pain and plantar fasciitis, skin conditions such as rashes, warts, and fungal infections, arthritic conditions of the foot and ankle, and diabetic foot complications. Bunions and ingrown toenails are treated through non-surgical approaches when possible, and prescription orthotics are fitted to correct a range of foot issues. Athletic injuries, including ankle sprains, tendonitis, stress fractures, and heel spurs, are also managed. House call service is available for patients unable to visit the office.
