Dr. Muhammed Sharoz Shamim is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon with a special focus on reconstructive surgery, total ankle replacement, minimally invasive bunion correction, and peripheral nerve surgery, as well as arthroscopic surgery for athletic injuries and diabetic Charcot reconstruction of the lower extremity. Born in Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Shamim was raised in Dubai before moving to the United States to pursue his education. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Alabama, his master's degree in biomedical sciences from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University. Dr. Shamim practices at Insight Health Systems in Novi, Michigan.
