Taylor L. Tesoro-Fila, DPM, FACFAS, DABPM practices alongside her father, Derek R. Tesoro, DPM, at Saginaw Valley Foot & Ankle Center, which has served the Saginaw and Tri-City area of Michigan since 1990. Dr. Tesoro-Fila graduated from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2019 and completed a three-year foot and ankle reconstructive surgical residency at Central Michigan University, where she now holds a faculty title as Associate Clinical Professor. The center treats bunions, plantar fasciitis, foot and ankle wounds, ankle sprains and fractures, diabetic foot conditions, and sports injuries, along with Achilles tendon issues, ankle instability, arthritic foot and ankle care, flat feet, and both pediatric and geriatric foot concerns. Most conditions are managed conservatively, though surgical options remain available for more complex cases. The practice accepts a broad range of insurance plans, including Medicare, and serves patients across the greater Saginaw region.
