Foremost Podiatry, PC, founded more than 30 years ago by Dr. Throckmorton, now includes five podiatrists serving Lansing, Corunna, Owosso, and St. Johns, Michigan. The team includes Dr. Matthew K. Thomson and Dr. James R. Toney, both board certified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, along with Dr. Jonathon M. Rayman, Dr. Michael Dziewit, and Dr. Krysta Loveland, a certified wound specialist physician. The practice provides podiatric medicine and surgery, sports medicine, diabetic foot care, custom orthotics, and treatment for injuries and fractures, along with foot ulcer prevention and wound care. Surgical options range from conservative approaches to internal or external fixation, joint replacement, minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques, platelet-rich plasma injections, and extracorporeal shockwave therapy, and MLS laser treatment is also available. Several of the practice's podiatrists hold hospital staff appointments at Sparrow, McLaren Greater Lansing, and Memorial hospitals, supporting coordinated surgical and inpatient care for patients throughout the region.
