Dr. Debbie Woody was born and raised in Roswell, New Mexico, before pursuing a career in podiatric medicine, obtaining her medical education at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa, and graduating there in 1994 with her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. She then relocated to Michigan for her podiatric surgical residency at Oakwood Hospital, completing that residency training in 1996, and has practiced continuously in the Downriver area of southeastern Michigan ever since, now caring for patients alongside her colleagues as part of the multi-doctor team at Athens Podiatry Group, treating a wide range of common foot and ankle conditions for patients of all ages.
