About Dr. Jengyu Lai

Jengyu Lai, DPM has provided advanced podiatric and wound care for more than 20 years at Rochester Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He completed a residency in podiatric orthopedics and a three-year NIH fellowship in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Mayo Clinic, and he is a Certified Physician Wound Specialist and Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Lai brings together lifestyle medicine, functional medicine, biomechanics, and regenerative medicine in a whole-person approach, focusing on underlying causes rather than symptoms alone. His practice is especially suited to patients with diabetic foot ulcers, chronic wounds, foot and ankle pain, nerve-related issues, and post-surgical or post-injury recovery, and he offers custom orthotics alongside arthritis and sports medicine programs. Beyond the clinic, Dr. Lai shares health education through local media and a podcast, and leads community health initiatives through the Lotus Health Foundation.
