Appling Podiatry, PLLC has served Southaven, Mississippi and the North Mississippi and Memphis metro area since Dr. Robert Appling established the practice in 2016. A Southaven native, Dr. Appling earned his podiatric medicine degree from Barry University and completed a three-year hospital-based residency in Atlanta before returning home to build his practice. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and treats both pediatric and adult patients using conservative and surgical approaches. Conditions addressed at the practice include sprains, bone and joint conditions, gout, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, neuromas, ulcers and wounds, peripheral vascular disease, fungal infections, and ingrown nails. The office accepts a wide range of insurance plans, including Medicare and Mississippi Medicaid, and welcomes self-pay patients as well. Dr. Appling designed his office with personal touches, including themed exam rooms, and maintains a special appreciation for veteran, police, fire, and EMS patients.
