Dr. William Cruce, DPM, brings podiatric surgery training to his two offices in Kansas City and Harrisonville, Missouri. Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Cruce spent ten years teaching before completing his podiatric medical degree at Temple University and a three-year surgical residency at Detroit Medical Center, which included trauma and pediatric reconstructive surgery training at two level-one trauma centers. He treats the full range of foot and ankle pathology, from Achilles tendon problems, ankle instability, and ankle sprains to bunions, flat feet, hammertoes, heel spurs, ingrown toenails, neuromas, plantar fasciitis, warts, fractures, and Charcot joints, using both conservative and surgical methods, including total ankle replacement. The practice also manages diabetic foot complications, wound care, crush injuries, and geriatric foot concerns, and maintains hospital affiliations including Research Medical Center and Cass Regional Medical Center.
