About Michael D. LaPan, DPM
Since 1993, Dr. Michael LaPan has provided foot and ankle care to eastern Montana and western North Dakota at Sidney Health Center, with over 35 years of training and clinical practice as the most experienced board-certified foot and ankle surgical specialist in the region. He received his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, completed his Podiatric Surgical Residency at the VA Medical Center in Denver, Colorado, and a Fellowship in Wound Healing in Aurora, Colorado. Dr. LaPan served as a Major in the US Army and Chief of the Department of Podiatry at Fort Hood, Texas. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and served as the first podiatrist ever elected President of the Montana Board of Medical Examiners.
