Eric C. Palmquist, DPM, founded Momentum Foot and Ankle Wellness Center in Omaha to give patients access to treatments centered on radial shockwave therapy, laser procedures, custom orthotics, and ingrown toenail care. Board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Dr. Palmquist trained at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and completed a three-year residency spanning the Palo Alto VA Medical Center, Stanford University, and Kaiser Permanente before practicing in Iowa and eventually settling in Omaha. The practice treats heel pain and plantar fasciitis, ingrown and fungal toenails, bunions and hammertoes, sprains and fractures, arthritis and nerve pain, and sports- or work-related injuries, and Dr. Palmquist performs reconstructive foot and ankle surgery when conservative measures aren't enough. Class IV laser therapy addresses pain, swelling, toenail fungus, and nerve-related conditions, while gait analysis and 3D scanning inform each custom orthotic fitting. Patient care coordinator Laura, with two decades in podiatry, rounds out the small, focused team.
