Jersey Shore Foot & Leg Center, led by Dr. Michael Kachmar, DPM, FACFAS, FACFAO, has served the Ocean and Monmouth County area from Bayville, New Jersey since 1986. Board certified in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Kachmar has performed more than 5,000 foot and ankle procedures and previously chaired the Department of Podiatric Surgery at Community Medical Center in Toms River. His practice emphasizes reconstructive pediatric and adult lower extremity surgery, including flat foot correction, congenital deformity repair, and peripheral nerve surgery, alongside wound care, diabetic foot management, and custom orthotics. Dr. Kachmar also treats venous reflux and vascular disease and performs skin biopsies and removals for suspected skin cancer. He maintains affiliations with several area hospitals, including Jersey Shore University Medical Center and Southern Ocean County Hospital, and continues to serve as physician for the local beach patrol.
