Patrick J. Caputo, DPM, FASPS, practices alongside Douglas DeLorenzo, DPM, serving patients from the Holmdel, New Jersey area and surrounding Monmouth and Middlesex County communities. As founding officer of Caputo Foot & Ankle Centers of NJ and managing partner of Holmdel Foot & Ankle Center and Holmdel Wound Care Center, he has practiced podiatric medicine and surgery in the region since relocating his original Hazlet office to Holmdel in 2001. Dr. Caputo is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and maintains that certification through periodic re-examination. His clinical focus includes diabetic wound care, having helped establish an early VA diabetic foot clinic, and he manages complications such as diabetic foot ulcers, neuropathy, and Charcot foot wounds. He also treats sports-related injuries and lower extremity pain, favoring non-surgical approaches like biomechanics and physical therapy for ankle sprains, heel pain, plantar fasciitis, and Achilles tendonitis, and offers computer-designed custom orthotics.
