About Irene K. Labib, DPM

Irene K. Labib, DPM, MS, FACFAS is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who completed her undergraduate studies in biology at Rutgers University before earning a master's degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where she co-authored a published microbiology research article. She then attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed a three-year surgical residency covering trauma and reconstruction, pediatric foot and ankle pathology, diabetic limb salvage, and forefoot and rearfoot surgery, serving as chief resident in her final year. Dr. Labib has presented research at American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons conferences and published in Clinics in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and Podiatry Today, and received her board certification in foot surgery from the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgeons in 2021.
