Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Care, based in Mountainside, New Jersey, is led by Dr. Mireille Blanchette, who is triple board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and the American Board of Wound Management. Originally from Canada, Dr. Blanchette trained at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed her surgical residency at Montefiore Medical Center before spending seven years with a Princeton-area orthopedic group. The practice treats ingrown toenails, fungal and thickened toenails, hammertoes, corns and calluses, Morton's neuroma, stress fractures, wounds and ulcerations, foot and ankle trauma, osteoarthritis, bunions, hallux limitus and rigidus, gout, and flat and high-arched feet. Both conservative and surgical treatments are offered, including procedures performed at Overlook Medical Center. The office accepts most major commercial insurance plans as well as Medicare, and Dr. Blanchette is fluent in both French and English.
