Advanced Ankle and Foot Center, led by Dr. Vilayvanh Sysounthone, provides medical and surgical foot and ankle treatment from its office in Woodland Park, New Jersey. Board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Sysounthone is well trained in reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot surgery, ankle surgery, trauma care, and diabetic limb salvage, and she speaks Spanish, Thai, and Laotian. Patients of all ages are evaluated and given a treatment plan ranging from medication to surgical intervention for a wide array of concerns, including Achilles tendon injuries, ankle fractures and sprains, arthritis, bunions, calluses and corns, flat feet, foot infections and ulcerations, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, neuromas, neuropathy, heel pain, and sports injuries. The practice also provides diabetic foot care, diabetic shoes and custom orthotics, wound treatment, and children's foot exams. Dr. Sysounthone is affiliated with Saint Clare's Hospital and Saint Joseph's Medical Center.
