David Levesque, DPM Sports Medicine Foot & Ankle has served the Westwood, New Jersey area for more than three decades, with Dr. Levesque treating overuse and traumatic injuries of the lower extremity in patients ranging from casual walkers and joggers to student, recreational, and professional athletes. A member of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, Dr. Levesque served as team podiatrist to the New Jersey Nets from 1990 to 1997 and continues to work closely with local high school sports programs, athletic trainers, and physical therapists. His practice addresses plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, ankle sprains and fractures, shin splints, Achilles tendonitis, stress fractures, neuromas, bunions, hammertoes, and osteoarthritis, with particular expertise in lower extremity biomechanics and custom-fitted sport orthotics.
