Gotchel Podiatry, established by Dr. Brian Gotchel more than two decades ago, provides general and surgical podiatric care to patients in Woodbury, New Jersey. Dr. Gotchel earned his doctorate at the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa, and completed his surgical residency at Kennedy Health System before opening this practice in the fall of 1991. The office treats a wide range of conditions, from routine checkups to surgical needs, including Achilles tendon issues, ankle instability and sprains, arthritic foot and ankle pain, bunions, corns and calluses, diabetic foot concerns, flat feet, fungal toenails, hammertoes, heel spurs and plantar fasciitis, ingrown toenails, neuromas, and crush injuries. Customized shoe inserts, or orthoses, are available to help relieve arch pain associated with plantar fasciitis. In addition to office visits, Dr. Gotchel regularly makes rounds at area assisted living and nursing facilities, including Shady Lane Nursing Home and Twin Cedars Assisted Living, to see patients who cannot travel to the office.
