Schatz Family Podiatry, led by Philip Schatz, DPM, serves patients from Bayside, New York down through Queens and Long Island. Known to patients as Dr. Phil, he graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2013 and completed his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, where he was named chief resident. He is board qualified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. The practice provides diabetic foot evaluations that include toenail trimming and callus care, along with treatment for plantar warts, flat feet, growing pains, injuries, and heel pain in younger patients. Dr. Schatz also offers custom orthotics, ingrown toenail treatment, sonic ultrasound therapy for soft tissue injuries, and both in-office and hospital-based surgical care for a range of foot and ankle conditions.
