Wellness Podiatry, led by Dr. Uzma Azfar, DPM, MBBS, sees patients across five offices in Hicksville, Bellerose, Richmond Hill, and South Ozone Park, serving communities throughout Long Island and Queens. Dr. Azfar completed her residency training at Northwell Health's LIJ Forest Hills and treats a comprehensive range of foot and ankle concerns, including bunions, hammertoes, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, ingrown toenails, fungal nail infections, neuromas, flat and high-arched feet, ankle instability, arthritis, neuropathy, gout, and fractures. Services span custom orthotics, diabetic foot care, wound care, laser treatment, physical therapy referrals, and reconstructive and total ankle surgery when needed. The practice accepts all insurance plans and offers appointments into the early evening at several locations. Fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, Dr. Azfar is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery, bringing a multilingual approach to podiatric care across the greater New York City area.
