Dr. Darren J. Weinheimer, DPM, originally hails from North East, Pennsylvania, and practices at Foot & Ankle Care Center in Binghamton, New York. He received his B.S. in molecular biology from Grove City College in 1991 and graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1995 on an academic scholarship. Dr. Weinheimer completed a three-year surgical residency in Pittsburgh at the Saint Francis Hospital system, training with both podiatric and orthopedic surgeons. He holds surgical privileges at Our Lady of Lourdes and United Health Services systems, serves as assistant residency director for the Lourdes residency program, and is board certified in foot and ankle surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons with special interests in sports medicine, trauma, diabetic foot care, and pediatrics.
