Bronx Foot Care, operated by Oscar Castillo, DPM, has served the Bronx, New York community since the doctor entered practice in 2007. A graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine who trained at Bellevue Hospital with a focus on trauma, Dr. Castillo is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and treats patients from infancy through adulthood. The bilingual practice, offered in English and Spanish, addresses a wide range of foot and ankle concerns, including heel pain, plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown and fungal toenails, warts, corns and calluses, flat feet, neuromas, ankle sprains, and fractures. Dr. Castillo also manages diabetic foot care, wound care, arthritic foot conditions, and sports-related injuries, drawing on interests in reconstructive foot surgery and biomechanics developed during his work with the World Trade Center Treatment Program. Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual patient's needs and lifestyle.
