James Anarella, DPM, has been in private practice for over 28 years and is board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1986 and completed his podiatric surgical residency there in 1987, after earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brockport State College in 1982. Dr. Anarella is affiliated with Elmhurst Hospital of New York, the New York Hospital Center of Queens, Parkway Hospital, and Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens. He has published articles on preventing complications in diabetic patients with toenail onychomycosis and on transchondral fractures of the talar dome in the Journal of Podiatric Medicine.
