Advanced Footcare Group, P.C. is led by Dr. Howard D. Zaiff, DPM, FACFAS, a board-certified podiatrist who has practiced in New York City for twenty-five years and holds hospital affiliation with Lenox Hill Hospital. The practice, with offices in Brooklyn and Manhattan, is organized around reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic wound care, and sports medicine departments, and treats an extensive list of conditions including Achilles tendonitis, ankle sprains, arch pain, arthritis of the feet, bunions, calluses and corns, diabetic neuropathy and ulcerations, flat feet, foot fractures, fungal toenails, hammertoe, heel pain, ingrown toenails, Morton's neuroma, plantar fasciitis, and plantar warts. Services include extracorporeal shockwave therapy, fluoroscopy and on-site X-ray, pinpoint and pulse dye laser treatment for toenail fungus, diabetic preventative foot care, and custom foot orthotics. Dr. Zaiff's office was the first podiatric center in New York City to earn Joint Commission accreditation as an office-based surgical facility, and appointments run into the evening on weekdays.
