Susan Schneidermesser, DPM, PC has served the Park Slope section of Brooklyn, New York since 1993, offering a total-body approach to foot and ankle health for patients from toddlers to seniors. Dr. Schneidermesser is board certified by the American College Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Foot Surgeons, with additional certifications in extracorporeal shockwave therapy and peripheral artery disease testing. The practice addresses a broad spectrum of concerns, including heel pain and plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown and fungal toenails, ankle sprains, fractures, gout, flat feet, neuromas, neuropathy, and diabetic foot care, alongside pediatric foot conditions and sports-related injuries. Both conservative, non-invasive treatments and surgical options are available, along with wound care and hyperbaric oxygen treatment for more complex cases. Having helped develop the podiatry residency program at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, Dr. Schneidermesser continues to combine long-standing clinical experience with current techniques for the Brooklyn community she serves.
