Dr. Stephen C. Smith practices as HERD Podiatry in Buffalo and Williamsville, New York, after purchasing Cynthia Ferrelli, DPM's private practice in Williamsville. Dr. Smith first learned about podiatry when Dr. Ferrelli lectured at their shared alma mater, Canisius College, and after shadowing her at her practice, he knew it was the path he wanted. Nine years later, he purchased her practice, bringing the story full circle. Dr. Smith obtained his Podiatric Medical degree at Kent State University, where Dr. Ferrelli had also studied when it was known as the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, and completed his three-year residency at Inspira Health Network in Vineland, New Jersey.
