American Foot Care, founded by Theodore Antonetz, DPM, in 1989, has treated patients from its Lincoln Towers office on Manhattan's Upper West Side in New York City. Dr. Antonetz is board certified by the American Podiatric Medical Specialties Board in podiatric surgery and by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine, and is a fellow of the American College of Podiatric Orthopedics. The practice performs podiatric surgery for bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, and ingrown toenails, and treats plantar warts, toenail fungus, plantar fasciitis and heel spurs, ankle sprains and strains, and stress fractures common among athletes. In-office diagnostic ultrasound, digital 3-D foot scanning for custom orthotics, and Doppler circulation testing support diagnosis and treatment planning, while the PinPointe FootLaser offers a non-surgical option for toenail fungus infections. KeryFlex nail restoration is also available for toenails damaged by fungus or trauma, cosmetically repairing their natural appearance in a single office visit.
