About Gerard C. Saponara, DPM

Dr. Gerard C. Saponara graduated from Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine in 1985 and is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He served as an Oral Examiner for the Board Certification Process for the American Board of Podiatric Medicine for 21 years and was recently president of that organization. He was also a former on-site Residency Evaluator for the Council on Podiatric Medical Education, and previously served as president of the Central Division of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, practicing with Foot Specialists of CNY in Central New York for over 30 years.
