About Dr. Esther Hansen

Dr. Esther Hansen received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from SUNY Stony Brook and completed her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City. While completing her podiatric surgical residency training at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Northport, New York, she worked in wound care at the Stony Brook University Hospital Leg and Foot Ulcer Group, and spent eight years in private practice prior to joining Heart and Health Medical. Dr. Hansen is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, serves as a Podiatric Surgical Attending at North Shore LIJ Southside in Bay Shore, New York, and is a consulting podiatrist for The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Southampton, New York, practicing in Middle Island, New York.
