About Richard A. Berliner, DPM

Dr. Richard Berliner is a SUNY Stony Brook graduate who went on to the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he received the Excellence in Biomechanics award in 1992. He completed a 24-month podiatric surgical residency at Beth Israel Hospital in New Jersey in 1994, including training in complex reconstructive foot surgery, and served as chief resident from 1993 to 1994. He has special interests in wound care, sports medicine, and pediatric foot care. In 2014, Dr. Berliner became the second podiatrist in New York State, and one of only 23 in the United States, to meet the requirements as a Certified Wound Specialist Physician.
