Northport Podiatry, PC has served Northport and the surrounding Long Island communities for over two decades under the direction of Dr. Denise Casinover-Raio, who is board certified in podiatric surgery and certified in wound care. She is joined by Dr. Amira Bekhit, whose training includes wound care, foot and ankle trauma, sports medicine, and diabetic foot salvage. Together they treat bunions, hammertoes, heel pain, plantar fasciitis, flat feet, arthritic foot and ankle conditions, ankle sprains and instability, Achilles tendon problems, fractures, ingrown and fungal toenails, neuromas, corns, calluses, and warts, along with diabetic foot care and wound debridement. The office no longer performs foot and ankle surgery on an outpatient basis but continues to offer surgical consultations, second opinions, and minor in-office procedures. The practice accepts Medicare and a range of other insurance plans and periodically offers weekend appointment availability.
