Dr. Stephen Smith purchased the private practice of Cynthia Ferrelli, DPM, in Williamsville, New York, after first learning about podiatry when Dr. Ferrelli lectured at Canisius College, their shared alma mater. He shadowed Dr. Ferrelli at her practice before pursuing the field himself, obtaining his Podiatric Medical degree at Kent State University, where Dr. Ferrelli had also earned her degree when it was known as the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Smith now practices at HERD Podiatry, specializing in all forms of podiatric medicine, including plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, fungal nails, foot trauma, and bunion and hammertoe deformities, serving patients in Perry, New York.
