David J. Valvo, D.P.M. has served the Rochester, New York community for nearly three decades, providing individualized podiatric care from his office near Unity Hospital. A graduate of the University of Rochester and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Valvo completed his residency at Mount Sinai in Cleveland before opening his practice in 1997. His areas of expertise include comprehensive care of foot disorders, biomechanical analysis, and custom orthotic fabrication, along with conservative treatment of athletic injuries. The practice manages arch pain, athlete's foot, arthritis, bunions, diabetic foot care, hammertoes, heel pain, infections, ingrown toenails, joint and tendon pain, neuromas, painful calluses, plantar fasciitis, sports injuries, thickened toenails, trauma, and warts. As the consulting podiatrist for Rochester's elite Genesee Valley Harriers running team, Dr. Valvo brings particular insight into treating competitive and recreational athletes.
