Dr. Jay Kerner has treated foot and ankle conditions in Rockville Centre for decades and practices with Prine Health, a multi-specialty group that also includes vascular, primary care, gynecology, endocrinology, urology, and rheumatology providers. Board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Kerner offers extracorporeal shockwave therapy for chronic heel pain, along with minimal-incision surgical techniques for bunions and hammertoes. His practice also addresses diabetes-related wound care with vascular testing, sports medicine needs including custom orthotics and physical therapy, fungal toenails, fractures, ankle sprains, neuromas, warts, ingrown nails, gout, and various forms of arthritis, plus fall prevention and balance assessments. A graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine who trained at Peninsula Hospital Center, Dr. Kerner is affiliated with Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital and approaches every patient with a whole-body perspective on foot pain.
