Collar City Podiatry serves patients in Troy, New York with two experienced podiatrists, Dr. Richard Altwerger and Dr. Timothy Fauler. Dr. Altwerger has cared for patients in the office and hospital for over 30 years, has been a diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery since 1995, is board certified in wound care, and serves as Medical Director of the Wound Care Center at Albany Memorial Hospital. Dr. Fauler, a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, completed his residency at the Houston Podiatric Foundation and is on staff at Samaritan Hospital, Albany Memorial Hospital, and St. Peter's Endoscopy and Outpatient Surgical Center. Together they provide comprehensive foot exams along with orthopedic, vascular, dermatological, and diabetic evaluations, treating plantar fasciitis, diabetic foot concerns, bunions, hammertoes, ingrown toenails, fractures, and pediatric foot problems. The practice performs corrective foot surgery and manages sports injuries, and works with most major insurance plans.
